Canalside Cottage is situated on the banks of the Caledonian Canal, overlooking the Beauly Firth with views over the Black Isle and to the mountains beyond.

Inverness is ideally situated for those wanting to explore and enjoy the Highland experience. From the rugged Cairngorms and west coast to the gentle glens of Affric and the Spey to the mystery of Loch Ness to the intrigue of Cawdor Castle to the taste of the world’s finest whiskies.
Walking, climbing, fishing, biking, boating ski-ing (2 centres within 1 hour’s drive), golf (28 courses within 1 hour’s drive), curling, & swimming for the active are all available locally.


The cottage has been recently refurbished and offers comfortable modern conveniences whilst retaining the charm of the old cottage, including central heating, washing machine, dish-washer, television, Broadband. Full linen and towels are provided


For the more leisurely, enjoy the facilities of Eden Court Theatre and cinema complex or the Vue cinema, take a boat trip along the canal to Loch Ness, visit the historic Culloden Battlefield or many castles, embark on a dolphin-watching boat trip, indulge in some retail therapy in the wide selection of shops in Inverness, experience the many fine pubs and eateries in Inverness and the surrounding area or just take a drive and immerse yourself in the stunning scenery of one of the most unspoilt regions of the country.
